•The employer shall pay the employee for overtime working hours an additional amount equal to the hourly wage plus 50% of his basic wage.
• If the establishment is operated on the basis of weekly working hours, the hours in excess of the hours taken as the criterion shall be deemed overtime hours.
• All working hours performed during holidays and "EIDS" shall be deemed overtime hours.
The maximum number of overtime hours during the year is 720 hours, and they may be increased with the approval of the worker. The wage for the additional work hour is calculated at a wage equivalent to the hourly wage (overtime including allowances) plus 50% of the basic wage in accordance with Article 107 of the Labor Law, and in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (178743) dated 09/27/1440 without prejudice to any more severe penalties stipulated in another law, according to Paragraph 31 of the penalty regulations; the employer shall be sanctioned with a fine of 10,000 riyals, which will be multiplied by the multiplicity of workers when the number of working hours increases more than what Article 98 stipulated without commissioning overtime work.
